Founded in 1999, ABBA Linear International Co., Ltd. is the first professional manufacturer of linear guides in Taiwan to hold the patented four-row ball self-lubricating design and successfully implement it in mass production. With 18 years of manufacturing experience in precision ball screws, ABBA Linear has mastered core key technologies and, combined with the linear ball guide R&D capabilities of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, successfully completed its mass production plan in 2000, securing multiple world patents. The company has effectively brought its products to the global stage, and its proprietary brand distribution network now spans Taiwan, Mainland China, Korea, Japan, Europe, and the Americas. Since its inception, ABBA Linear has consistently strived to strengthen its market presence and product quality, earning honors such as the 9th Innovation Research Award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the 2002 Taiwan Excellence Award, the 6th Small Giant Award, and the 2nd National New Venture Silver Award. Additionally, it has obtained the approval letter for emerging strategic industries with investment incentives from the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, confirming that the company's efforts over the past four years have gained unanimous recognition and support from customers, manufacturers, and industry, government, and academic sectors. ABBA Linear is actively dedicated to the R&D and mass production of ultra-precision transmission components. Meanwhile, adhering to the spirit of quality first and professional service, the company integrates global operational resources to meet customer needs, striving to become a world-class professional manufacturer of linear transmission components. In April 2007, SKF acquired ABBA Linear, making it a part of SKF's Precision Business Unit.
